Medimark was founded in July 2017 by Lin Chen. Lin was inspired to start the company after caring for a family member undergoing several medical procedures. She met many incredible specialists and their teams with the highest level of expertise, care and attention to benefit patients and their carers. Unfortunately, these specialists were not easily accessible as they had minimal to no presence. How then will patients gain access to them if they are not aware they exist? She saw a need to help Australian patients connect with medical practitioners by providing medical practitioners an easy, affordable and effective way to market themselves.

Who is Lin Chen?
Lin is the director and founder of Medimark, Australia’s first medical marketing and management agency. She has a passion for entrepreneurship and has cemented herself as one of the key players in the Australian medical marketing sphere, building development strategies and managing the implementation of creative solutions for specialty medical practices.
Lin has worked for over 15 years in strategic marketing, consultancy and healthcare so she understands the intricacies in providing an authentic customer experience for patients.
Before Lin began specialising in medical marketing, she worked as a Business Development Manager for a medical practice management firm. She has also worked in sales, strategy, operations and management across several multinational and family run businesses.
After speaking to hundreds of doctors, Lin came to realise that they haven’t received the same level of support other professionals get with respect to business development. This is because it is seen as taboo for a medical professional to promote themselves.
Lin decided it was time to get rid of the stigma for doctors to do marketing and offer them the same level of support that people in other industries receive.
She really enjoys working in the healthcare industry and helping the community. Lin wants to help people, who in turn help and care for people in need.
