Clinical Trial Recruitment Privacy Policy

Clinical Trial Recruitment Privacy Policy

Medimark’s Privacy Policy refers to our commitment to treat the information of employees, customers, stakeholders and other interested parties with the utmost care and confidentiality. The scope refers to any employee, contractor, or individual with access to systems or data.

At Medimark, we use the information we collect about you only to pass your details to the clinical research organisation conducting the study.

What Information Do We Collect? How Do We Use It?

When you enquire to participate in a clinical trial, we need to know your name, gender, contact number and e-mail address, as well as the answers to some trial specific questions. This allows us to determine your initial eligibility and to pass your details on to the clinical research organisation conducting the trial. The clinical research organisation will always be clearly identified within any advertisement.

You may voluntarily opt-in to be notified about future trials. For this service we need your basic eligibility criteria, to reduce the number of irrelevant emails sent to you, and your e-mail address, which we use to send the information you requested.

If you decide you no longer want to receive information from us, you can opt-out from future contact. Make sure to notify us for each account or email address you have left with us.

How Does Medimark Protect User Information?

Medimark protects your user information in securely stored formats. We pass referrals to the clinical research organisation using Google spreadsheets. G Suite data is encrypted when it’s on a disk, stored on backup media, moving over the Internet, or traveling between data centers. Encryption is an important piece of the G Suite security strategy, helping to protect emails, chats, Google Drive files, and other data. You can read more about it on Google’s Security & Trust page.

In the event of a catastrophic occurrence, Medimark will prioritise the restoration based on the nature and extent of the situation, and the importance of the individual systems to the continued operation. Medimark is able to restore data that was deleted within the past 14 days.

We provide 1-to-1 support to potential participants who sign up for, or inquire about, a study we are recruiting for, and any person can contact us at to have all of their data removed from our system at any time.

The clinical research organisation we are recruiting for may also request we delete all information at the conclusion of recruitment.

Will Medimark Disclose the Information it Collects to Outside Parties?

Medimark does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others, except for those parties clearly identified when you sign up for participation in a clinical study.

Your Consent

By continuing, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Medimark. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page, so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.
